For the second year in a row, Verona Lamiere will be a protagonist and partner in the project dedicated to youth and young people in Handbike that will be held in Salizzole (Verona) on two separate dates: April 21 (beginners and cadets) and May 26, 2024 (juniors).
Handcycling is a subcategory of para-cycling, an Olympic discipline practiced by both women and men with disabilities. There are 5 recognized subcategories based on the level of disability, and unlike the traditional bike, the handbike is front-wheel drive, as the chain is attached to the single front wheel.
The event aims to raise awareness of the world of the normally gifted to the world of those who have struggled with life and disability after a serious accident in a day of social inclusion.
