For the second year in a row, Verona Lamiere will be the protagonist and partner of the project dedicated to young people and young people of the Handbike which will be held in Salizzole (Verona) on two separate dates: 21 April (debutants and students) and 26 May 2024 (very young).
Handcycling is a subcategory of paracyclism, an Olympic discipline practiced by both women and men with disabilities. There are 5 recognized subcategories according to the level of disability and unlike the traditional bike, the handbike is front-wheel drive, since the chain is connected to the single front wheel.
The event aims to sensitize the world of the normo gifted to the world of those who found themselves fighting with life and disability after a serious incident on a social inclusion day.
