The 11th edition of the « Trophy Without Barriers » National Hand Bike competition was held in the town of Salizzole, Sunday, April 02, 2023. Verona sheet metal decided to sponsor the opening event of the 2023 cycling season.
On this Sunday, the program included multiple competitions beginning at 8:30 a.m. with the beginner categories (ages 13-14), to be followed at 11 a.m. with the cadets category (ages 15-16) and at 3:45 p.m. with the NATIONAL HAND BIKE RACE valid as scoring for the Italian Company Championship and for the Regional Champion Title.
The event aimed to raise awareness of the world of the normally gifted to the world of those who have found themselves struggle with life and disability after a serious accident in a day of social inclusion.
In order to carry out everything safely, more than 60 people in various capacities manned the trails.
