On Friday, March 13, 2026, an intensive and engaging workshop was held together with the MADE – Competence Center Industry 4.0 team, focused on defining the company’s digital transformation roadmap.
The meeting is part of an ongoing journey initiated following the “Industry 4.0 Strategy” assessment phase, carried out through interviews and direct observation of business processes. This preliminary activity made it possible to gather valuable insights for a structured evaluation of the company’s digital maturity level and for identifying the main areas of intervention.
The workshop represented an important opportunity for cross-functional discussion, actively involving different company departments in a process of analysis and co-design. Through dedicated working groups, key areas such as Technical Sales, Operations Planning, and Vendor Rating were explored in depth, with the aim of identifying strategic priorities, improvement opportunities, and high value-added initiatives.
Throughout the day, participants worked collaboratively to define concrete project proposals, sharing experiences, operational challenges, and potential solutions. This approach fostered a cross-functional view of business processes, highlighting interconnections and synergies among the various areas.
The work carried out enabled the outline of an initial structure for the digital roadmap, identifying objectives, indicative timelines, interdependencies among projects, and potential impacts on organizational processes. In particular, a willingness emerged to adopt a gradual and integrated approach, capable of combining technological innovation with operational sustainability.
The initiative represents a significant milestone within a broader path of organizational and technological evolution, aimed at continuous improvement, process efficiency, and strengthening the company’s competitiveness in an Industry 4.0 perspective.
The digital transformation journey will continue in the coming months with further phases of in-depth analysis and development of the identified projects, with the goal of translating the outlined guidelines into concrete and measurable actions.
