The WELDER, a job women can do too

In Italy, the number of women performing what are considered “men’s jobs” is on the rise. Ordinary women who are proving to be successful at what they do.

Some professional figures are still automatically considered for men or women, but this is not the case for welders, a role women covered during the two world wars since 1914.

This year, Verona Lamiere has started collaborating with IIS, the Italian Welding Institute.
