The purpose of the exhibition does not want to be informative about Dante Alighieri but is to ensure that young people can approach the reading of the Divine Comedy with passion, finding in it a fundamental contribution to their human and spiritual growth.
The comments and interpretations of prof. Nembrini and Dell’Otto’s evocative images form the leitmotif of this itinerary.
It is a question of staying in front of Dante’s verses from Hell with their own open existential questions, in search of a full meaning for life. In this way Dante becomes a prophet of hope, that is, a credible and contemporary interlocutor, capable with his words and concrete examples of putting ourselves in front of our desire for happiness, to face “our hell” with hope and courage.
