Performance monitoring: challenges and innovative solutions

11 December 2023

Verona Lamiere has adopted the Industry 4.0 strategy from the beginning; today it is a company with a strong focus on automation and enterprise data management. To date, more than 60 percent of the industrial machinery fleet is connected and interconnected and is able to provide monitoring and performance data during various machining processes.

Proper monitoring of machines ensures optimal operation and maximizes operational efficiency as well as enables the collection of real-time data on current activities, such as resource utilization, downtime, and production levels.

This valuable information can be used to make decisions regarding preventive maintenance, optimization of workflows, and implementation of corrective actions to comprehensively improve work in the company.

It also translates immediately into the ability to respond to Customers with accurate lead times for their production orders while meeting deadlines.
